Do you ever come off stage after a concert, audition or competition and think “What just happened? I know I play better than that!”
The aim of my work is to help you to:
- increase your self-confidence before, during and after performances
- increase concentration and focus
- enhance musical expressiveness and communication
- reduce performance anxiety
- overcome previous negative performing experiences
- enjoy performing more!
My work typically includes:
- mental skills training (positive thinking, concentration skills, goal setting, negative thoughts, visualisation, practice strategies, memorisation, pre and post-performance routines)
- identifying optimal performance energy, and learning to regulate physiological arousal
- enhancing musical expressiveness and communication.
I work with individuals (between 1 – 12 sessions, depending on the particular needs of each musician) and offer workshops for small (4 – 8 participants) and large groups. I work with professional musicians, students, amateurs and children.
